All your interpretations have made my morning YLF with cuppa even happier these past few days!

I cannot wait to see what you do the rest of the week.

Oh, and I think it's a great idea to go all out and not worry about wearability -- but as you say, the pieces mixed with others actually ARE wearable in a contemporary way.

You make me wish we were all dressing like this more often, though. To heck with modern.

WOW. I've been watching a lot of 1930s "talking pictures" lately, paying special attention to the clothes (and decor) and in all these outfits you could have walked right out of any one of them! You have the equivalent of perfect pitch when it comes to fashion. More, please.

Thank you everyone! I'm moved and glad you are enjoying along

Gracie - I like this trumpet skirt too, it has a great swirling movement at the hem when I walk.

Keturah - aw I'm kind of a Gene Kelley girl myself -- a later era ;). I think you are right about the makeup really being key. Great advice for updated combos, thank you!

La Belle and Carter - naw, I just like to play dress-up, always have. Actually when I used to teach I'd sometimes dress up (combining cultural history lessons with the literature or art of the time). La Belle - The shoes actually I found at Goodwill and I think they are a Sears brand, but I really liked the buckle. More sitting shoes than for much walking, but they've earned their price.

rachylou and viva - I don't think I've ever seen the whole movie, got to rectify that tonight!

tulle - thank you! I think these early eras I have a better handle on, some decades I didn't have quite the right clothes to pull off the way I imagined.

How did I miss this earlier? Rabbit you are awesome! amazing! Stunning! I absolutely love your usual style as you know, but you really show your stuff with these challenges. I am so impressed! Standing ovation!

Totally fab, the beanie is the icing on the cake so to speak
