You are a sweetheart, Sterling, but I probably can't wear a large, especially in the Calson brand. Even their smallest sizes are not cut for the small of chest. Since you like the shirt otherwise, I was hoping my suggestion would help you find a way to continue to wear it.

So -- total fail on that planned outfit. Weather is way too warm for those pants. I will hold them for next week when temps go back to normal seasonal range. Wearing the white button down, which will be my orphan for the day. Pairing it with new crop flares, snakeskin flats and silver jewelry. I feel better!

El Cee -- I hadn't had the chance to mention it before now. I absolutely LOVE your style of shoes. They are something I could easily wear. I fully intend to buy some more in that exact style.

So, a vacation day for me. I have roofing and ATT contractors coming to the house and I am ultra casual.

I am wearing the athleta cropped pants Janet found a few years ago. I am pairing the cropped pants with a cropped tee shirt from Everlane. The tee shirt from Everlane is my unworn item.

This tee shirt should have worked brilliantly for me, but it is cut literally in the shape of a box. I prefer not to be seen in public in this shirt. This is another one of those items that I try to make work but am never happy wearing it. I keep it solely because I like the length on me.

Earlier in this challenge I worked with button down shirts and found I do like wearing them again. I just need to accept the fact that I prefer someone else to press them. A big win.

Now that the summer months are here, I am starting to assess my unworn tee shirts (black Caslon, white Everlane) and I am finding them lacking. I *could* try to find work arounds for the tee shirts, but I wonder why bother? I will never really enjoy wearing them.

I am wearing mostly comfortable flats these days due to some orthopedic issues… a lot of Hush Puppies (shoutout to Joy!), Clarks, Naturalizers and Sperrys. I have learned to embrace comfort brands.

Lovely weather day here! I will be heading out to have lunch with a friend at a local Vietnamese restaurant… very casual place. Going boho light today. Orphan is a pair of flared jeans that I bought last fall but have not yet been worn (probably due to winter wet weather issues). I will be pairing the jeans with a knit cocoon dress (tunic length on me), poncho, gray booties and fun, boho-ish jewelry.

Hi Sterling -- just crossed posts. I think you are right to pass along wardrobe items that are difficult to style and are not bringing you any joy in wearing. (I have started my own Goodwill bag.) Great idea to assess the tees and lighter weight tops now that Spring is here. I think I will start doing that next week. Those Athleta crop pants are terrific. (How did I miss that post?)
