Hey guys!
I'm new here so I don't really know how this works but I need your help. I recently moved to Toronto and I'm going to my very first house party tomorrow and I don't know what to wear. I was thinking yoga pants with some sneakers but I'm not sure. Let me know what you guys think.

Welcome to YLF. As I don't know your age or what type of house party it is, it is difficult for me to provide you with guidance. Yoga pants and sneakers sounds rather casual. That may be spot on, but without some additional information, it is difficult to answer your query. Personally, I find jeans and a blouse (or t-shirt) to be a good fall back casual outfit. At the end of the day, a party is there to be enjoyed, so if you feel great in yoga pants and sneakers, then I am sure you will rock the look.

Yoga pants and sneakers can be worn any time - a party is a chance to dress for style fun, whether casual or dressy! What do you like to wear?

I am in yoga pants a lot so to me a party means I get to wear something fun. I think (at least for my neighborhood) if I was going to a house party that was a casual event I would wear jeans and a blouse or sweater and some loafers.

Well I'm 18 and a friend of mine told me that these parties are casual parties and that I shouldn't really dress uo and that's what's making it difficult for me to decide.

Go halfway. Find a flashy little top to wear with your yoga pants and sneaks. Shop around for a cool vintage piece or a pop of metallic. Trust me, your friends will wish they'd dressed up to match.
