thank you so much for sharing the fab pictures of you, your husband and lovely daughter....so wonderful to have such memories...i'm in awe of your ability to let the physical items go...i need to work on that....

I recall you saying about your DH hating flying. My sister lives in a small village near Oxford. So I’m ready when you are

Thanks for sharing these! I love seeing pics of you and your hubby through the years. Such a beautiful couple. You look incredible in 7/8

Such lovely memories!

I’m in the extreme minority here, see no problem keeping nostalgic things around, either filed away with other memory bits or out in places that you brush up against them and smile occasionally, for as long as they bring you a smile. Clearly labeled, perhaps with a note in a pocket, in either case. But whether that’s a good idea or not is really for your kids to say, I suppose.

Ps. This post reminds me of CindySmith’s blog. I wonder what/how she’s doing now.

Yes I’ve wondered about Cindy as well and thought of her when I wrote this. And the memory things... I still have other memory clothing, a smaller amount, left. And many other memory things, some of my parents’ things since they are both dead. I have got rid of half or more of their stuff since this place cannot be a museum.

Fabulous photos-my, time really does fly by. Love the flapper dress.

Man, those pontoon size shoulder pads !!
