Fantastic swimsuit at Old Navy

Just wanted to share that Old Navy has some gorgeous one-piece swimsuits right now. I found one similar to this, but in a stunning inky indigo--it has some criss-cross pieces of fabric over the stomach area instead of ruching, making it look almost wrap-style, but the general idea is the same:

Best of all, the one I got was only $17. It looks very very expensive when worn. Worth checking if you need swimwear!

For some reason I find swimsuits super easy to shop for. It never takes me more than 10 minutes to find one that fits perfectly and looks nice. I'd take swimsuit shopping over jeans shopping any day. Weird, eh?

Now that you mention it, I find swimsuits much easier as well. Maybe since there is less fabric, there is nothing left but my tush to argue with, and my tush is my tush. Nothing to do about that. I then move on with enthusiasm to coordinating cover-ups.

I've actually been looking at that suit, even though I bought another one. It's my favorite color! I haven't seen it in any stores, though.

I think it runs maybe one size large? I often find Old Navy runs large. The suit I got is not exactly the same one I linked to, but a similar one. The Old Navy I went to had all their swimwear on sale for $17.

I can't vouch for quality, of course, since I just got this, but I have yet to have a swimsuit last me longer than a year or two regardless of brand--and for $17 I won't mind if that's the case again.

Thanks for the tip. I stopped going in Old Navy a long time ago because my tops were always two wash wonders from there. (two washes, and I wonder what happened to the material)

I'm in awe of you finding swimsuit shopping easy. I don't think I have bought a leisure pair (as opposed to racing bathers) for over 10 years (made do with an flattering handmedown and now a pair that was a gift a few years ago.

Anyway I'm glad you found a great pair for a good price!

An english friend of mine had this quote brought up against him at his wedding. Something like
