Most floral prints do absolutely nothing for me, but every now and then I see one that I absolutely must have. I tend to like dark "moody" florals with lower contrast and an almost textural appeal. The last time I fell for a floral was, IIRC, when I bought this chambray shirt from Boden four or five years ago. It will be in my wardrobe for years to come and I find lots of opportunities to wear it.

These Athleta leggings came up in my feed the other day, and they are sooo pretty. I can picture them with pretty much all of my outerwear and paired with both gear and casual shoes. I haven't ordered them yet, but I think I might have to. I've had good luck with Athleta leggings in the past. Don't think I've ever paid full price for leggings, but there's a first time for everything! (They also have a crop top and tank top in the same print, but I don't think I have a need for either of those. The leggings, however, would get worn a lot.) The only thing that makes me a *little* nervous is the potential for awkward pattern placement on printed leggings. Nearest Athleta is a couple hours away, so no option to pick out a pair in-person, but I trust myself to return them if they look ridiculous.

Do any of you have a wildcard pattern? Something you don't usually gravitate towards, but every now and then will catch your eye?
