Today’s blog post was fantastic and perfect timing for me, as I have this black and brown silk shirt midi dress and need to find a way to wear it also in fall. I tried with many toppers and disliked the results until Angie’s post brought some clarity - do not wear thigh length toppers but rather longer or closer to knee length. So I tried with a long tan leather shirt/ leather coat and added loafers for a cooler look.
In the second outfit, I wear long knitted coat/cardigan and a pair of platform booties.
The last picture is the dress on its own.
I think these toppers work much better than the shorter styles I tried before. I also like the color combination - black and brown is one of my favorites.
What do you think? Shall I wear these combinations?
