What a fabulous selection of fall colors and outfits!
I am attracted to these two looks. In the second outfit I think the colors are used in an interesting way - none is exactly repeated and yet everything looks cohesive.

I’m not hankering after any new ‘looks’ going into F/W since it looks like things will be quiet (no travel, and the city decided weekly bridge was too risky after all, and removed it from the fall line up.) #1 and #2 are new/recent photos I’ve collected to my style inspo board. I’m liking black with tan. #3 is a long time goal look - a couple years old. #4 is what I’ll probably look like most of the time.

Ok. I am a bit behind on the forum but here are the Fall items I have added to my wardrobe this year. In the spring I moved from sunny So. CA to the PNW. I am loving the change in seasons, lifestyle and my wardrobe after 50+ years!

I have always had a soft spot for Olive and Burgundy, however I find myself strangely drawned to some Browns this year. BR also has an interesting "Dry Mustard" I am drawn to.

PS - I have never worn flannel or plaid in my life - but spontaneously purchased the darker Patagonia flannel a couple of years ago because I was mesmorized by the color palette. Just purchased #2 this week. Angie you may like the lighter colored one

A bit late to this, but I had actually saved a bunch of photos for inspiration. Some are definitely not from 2021, but I don’t mind that — I like to be current, but I will draw inspiration from many years! I was particularly interested in:

1) styling my flares/bootcuts/wide leg jeans
2) styling my old cowboy boots
3) styling tall boots with skirts/dresses
4) styling sneakers with jeans
5) touches of casual 70s glam

I found myself quite tired of “home dressing” in joggers and tees so I’m more inclined right now to “dress up” a bit even for mundane out-of-the-house activities.
