I like almost all of these colors quite a bit, so I'm happy. I have been seeing some of these colors in stores already. That last pinky/purply color throws me. It just doesn't seem to go with the rest.
Thanks for the link. It is always interesting to see what colors Pantone has selected for the season... but I rarely see their picks reflected in the merchandise sold by our local retailers. I am personally loving the Aurora Red, Spicy Mustard, Lush Meadow and Potter's Clay shades.
I've always enjoyed seeing the colors of the season. I really like Riverside. I will certainly be incorporating that color into my Fall/Winter color palette.
These include some really good colors for me and some not so good. I can definitely do the blue shades, the gray, the purple and dusty pink shades. I currently have a lot of the blue and gray but not the purple (bodacious) or pink (dusty cedar) but would be willing to think about adding something in one of those colors. Aura red, lush meadow and potters clay are a maybe depending on the undertone. Warm taupe and spicy mustard are a no for me unless I'm just seeing the colors wrong on my screen.
I like all the cool colors: Riverside, Airy Blue, Sharkskin, Lush Meadow and Bodacious, as well as Warm Taupe if it is less warm. My absolute favorites are the Airy Blue and Bodacious and hope to wear a lot of both.
Love the blues, gray and taupe with a bit of dusty cedar.
I'm trying to get more blue and gray into my fall/winter wardrobe in lieu of all the black I gravitate to.
Club Monaco has been adding items in a colour they call "rouge". It looks like it could be dusty cedar like but I haven't seen it in person yet.....it may be more reddish. http://www.clubmonaco.ca/produ.....d=99371086
All of the colors feel too soft and dusky for my liking. Of all of them, I might consider Bodacious (I'm a purple girl at heart) and maybe Lush Meadow.. The colors also look a bit dated to me. Maybe I"m just stuck in my own little bubble though.
I like the palette; reads more fall than winter though these colors could easily be taken into winter, too. Similar to colors I already wear though I opt for the saturated versions of all of them. The two blues strike me as faded denim which is exactly how I wear those shades. And I do prefer a lighter shade of gray but I like the clear tone of what they're showing.
Airy blue has the word Serene in the description! Should be perfect for me. I like lush meadow, it reminds me of my Jason Wu dress. Riverside is okay. Sharkskin is a more vibrant bluish grey IMO, and I like it. I also like the warm taupe. I could make an entire wardrobe out of these colors! Oh, I already did! kind of!
I don't really dress according to season (fall and spring can often be the same colours/wardrobe for me), and I try not to choose colours according to fashion - but am limited by what is available in the stores of course.
I do like the slighty "off/muddy" tones in some of these colours..
They are growing on me. My phone has finally calmed down and allowed me to read the whole report (it's ghosting). They strike me as early harvest colours, but that IS fall, so... Anyways, they are growing on me because they're quite different from the usual suspects...
