Perhaps the best feature of them is that they don't have the lining in the feet, at least according to the comments. They really ought to say that in the description because if I were considering them, I'd hesitate because none of my shoes would fit properly, as I don't buy shoes with wearing heavy socks in mind. Indeed, most of my shoes are intended to be worn with thin tights and not socks at all.
While they're a great idea for those who wear fewer dresses and skirts in the winter due to temperature, it is rare that my legs get cold. Even in very cold temps, I am normally fine in tights and a warm coat, so I wouldn't wear these very often. Still, a good idea and a good solution for many people.
