I've been very inspired by all the great biker jacket looks people on the forum wear. So I looked around the mall today for some non-leather options I could wear. Most of these photos are not high quality, but I could still use your take on things.

For you experts: how do you fit the jacket? I thought they looked best pretty snug, but that means it would be hard to wear a jacket like this over more layers when it's cold. Do you think of it more like a blazer in that you would wear it mainly over a light top, or did you size it to wear over a couple layers?

I tried on the Express vest that Lesley modeled so well - it fit and I liked it, but I just wondered how often I would wear a vest. I'm on the fence about the biker vest concept, maybe I need to be talked into it.

My two favorites so far:

Charlotte Russe jacket: I think I like the collar on this one the best - it's what I think of as a classic biker jacket style. The sleeves are way too long, but they don't have cuffs so they could probably be altered easily.

My photos are for the blue one, but it also comes in a nice gray.

Another bebe jacket. I don't think I like the collar on this one as well. It's also very shiny.

I also saw this one on the Bebe web site, and it looks nice:
