Fairly cute snow boots from -- gulp -- Crocs

The customer reviews suggest that they truly can work in cold, snowy weather -- unlike "snow" boots that are merely waterproof...

ETA: Cuffing them to show the red lining would be adorable!

I hate to be the one to rain on your parade, April, but consider me a storm cloud. These just don't do it for me. Too bulky and juvenile.

Do you think I've become so accustomed to hideous snow boots that my standards have plummeted? Probably.

I'm not looking for casual snow boots so these are not for me anyway, but I happened to see them while I was looking at other boots and feeling dismayed. They seemed downright charming compared to the Sasquatch styles I saw.

They remind me of the snowboots we use on the kids around here when they are young. Probably work great too! LOL

I sympathize April, yet I am still hopelessly idealistic about this situation. I just cannot bring myself to accept that ugly shoes are the ONLY possibility in foul weather, nor can I accept that I have to look like the abominable snowman on my commute.
