Face Shape Help (and maybe Kibbe?)

Hey guys!

I always struggle with putting myself in categories. Somehow I never seem to get an accurate result and I am not very good at finding or describing characteristics.

So, naturally, I have a very hard time trying to figure out my face shape. No matter which tests I take they never seem entirely accurate. Now, of course I know that most people don't fit in just one category but its rather hard to figure out just what shapes I could be.

Same with Kibbe type - I took one look at the test and knew that it would take a miracle for me to answer it correctly. I don't really have any good pictures of my entire body right now so I don't know if it is even possible to determine a Kibbe type but maybe you guys can help me sort out some stuff. I did read somewhere that height is important - I am 5'2.

Maybe there's some style inspiration in there too. I'd like to have shorter hair some time but I don't think most cuts would suit me.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

For Kibbe, I’d be thinking explore Romantic or soft (sometimes called romantic or yin) natural- maybe soft gamine.

I feel you have a very gamine face, but the body is more important when it comes to Kibbe, I think. Your height is gamine, tho.

Thanks ou guys! I already figured I would get something more on the soft side and I will try and look into both of those options. They both seem very interesting, especially gamine.

I'm no Kibbe expert, but I *think* that if you are 5'2", you pretty much have to be some kind of gamine. I see some romantic influence, but I think romantics are taller. Since you tend in the direction of romantic, I think that would make you soft gamine. There is more roundness than angularity in your features.

As for your face shape, I'm not so good with that. It looks pretty oval to me.

Gamines are normally best in short haircuts, but if you think that doesn't suit you, you can get the same effect from an updo (I like your updo pics). The main problem with gamines having long hair is that it can have a heavy effect, which dampens the gamine "energy".

I think your face may be a mixture of round and oval, 2 pics attached from a book I own called Colour Me Beautiful
( UK edition). As far as Kibbe, I am your height but found Theatrical Romantic fit me best just doing the questionnaires myself. Style Syntax is a good site. Your hair and beads look quite Romantic to me especially in pic 3.

I'm seeing romantic with some gamine. Kibbe doesn't use ingenue but that's there.
