One thing I love is the fashions from music from the 50s and 60s--especially Motown, pop and R and B. There was a certain fabric on some of these dresses, and I am wondering if anyone knows what it is. Sort of brocade-like--annoyingly stiff. Very beautiful clothes, but a pain to get into. You find it in thrift stores sometimes.
