Saw these adorable jeans embellished with the white rose embroidery; they are $500 dollar vintage 501s that have been embellished by Bliss and Mischief.

There are plenty of sources on Ebay and Etsy for Rose appliqués--I think I will do a copycat version!

No... But I've been thinking about making a shift out of this light weight, darker chambray cloth I have. I bought the cloth years ago at an estate sale shop...

I cant imagine it would be too difficult to recreate those jeans, providing you can get the appliqués. Keep us posted. I wish I could say I had a DIY project to show off.

I'm not a DIY'er at all. Not anymore, anyways. These jeans are intriguing, although I could not fathom paying that amount of $ for reworked 501's. I quite like the rose appliqués, a lot in fact, and could see wearing these in summer with high heels, a t and a blazer. I can't with the high waist part though, just cannot. Even on her thin, straight body, it's not a look I find at all cool or flattering. Anyways, I sound like my mother. Stop. I'm looking at the picture again and really like the placement of the appliqué - now that's interesting and flattering
