Ezibuy for the Aussie Ladies

I got the new Autumn Ezibuy catalogue today and there's quite a few things that I like the look of. I'm just rather hesitant on the quality. I thought I had decided to give them a miss from now on but I'm a bit tempted!!

Anyone have any thoughts on the quality? Anne, if you read this, did you keep an Ezibuy leather jacket? If so, how is it wearing? And Tam did you keep a sweater dress? How did it wear?

Anyone else got a wish list from the new catalogue? Here's mine. I always get excited about winter clothes!

Oooh thanks for the heads-up An! I like the ezibuy things I have kept but find the sizing VERY inconsistent which is annoying considering you have to pay for shipping and returns. The sweater dress & tunic I have are wearing well so far, although they do pill under the arms alot (so I have to pull off the bits that gather and look funny).

Ezibuy seem to have stopped sending me catalogues - boo. I'll hop online tonight though and have alook around.

Those clothes look great.

I've bought quite a lot of Ezibuy clothes in the past, and here is what I think;
The capture merino wool stuff is excellent.
Sizes tend to run large, so make sure you have a tape measure handy before hand.
Grace Hill seems to be very good quality- excellent.
Capture seems to be good- ok quality
Urban... well sizes can be smaller, and for me I think the quality isn't there.

Their return policy is EXCELLENT. To help save a few dollars make sure you keep the bag and all the relevant information that comes with the clothing. You will need to pay for return postage, so be careful about your purchases up front.

Bathers are also absolutely great quality and worth looking at getting for next year.. or what is left of the hot weather this year.

What you have picked looks great, but I'd also be looking at the web site for last years similar items on sale. You may pick up a real bargain.

Good to hear your items are wearing ok Tam. I just bit the bullet and put in a BIG order. So, I could send my catalogue onto you now Tam if you want a bit of temptation!!

Thanks for your words of wisdom Mum to J & L about quality & sizing. And good to hear the bathers are good quality, I just ordered some of those too.

Ok get ready for an onslaught of keep or returns when my oreder arrives. (I'll spare you from the swimmers though:-))

wow the catalogue is the same as the NZ catalogue. I used to live near the retail shop and found some things good and some things not so good. I think its great that you can return them and that is what encourages me to buy things. I have just ordered 4 things off the autumn catologue...one practically a whole look which I like. I do like that leather jacket but didn't order that.

Thanks for the links An - I really like the black ponti jacket but I just could justify spending $80 on a jacket like that. Althought I dont mind this jacket:

Hi An,

I bought a pleather jacket from Ezibuy last year (so can't comment on leather) It was probably the item I most wore from everything I bought last winter so was an excellent purchase. It hasn't worn out yet.

Like Karen, I am a little jaded by Ezibuy, after going overboard with them last year. A red sweaterdress I bought from them has been a bit disappointing, because it sags so much I have to wear a belt to help it stay up and I can't wear a slip or shaping cami underneath because they would show at the sagging neckline. The merino tunic I bought 2 years ago is okay but the knit is very thin. So is the fabric in the tunic shirt I got.
I also found that the sizes ran large.
OTOH I have had some great bargains in the sales, like my white summer dress which was $10.

Sally, I like that jacket also but I didn't order it. I'll be keen to hear what you think of your loot when it arrives!

Karen, I agree that their prices are up there, especially if they don't wear really well.

Anne, I'm glad your pleather jacket is wearing well. You reminded me that a sweater dress I ordered (& returned) last year was very thin and I felt like I would have needed to wear something underneath it. Your red dress sounds very disappointing. Is that the white dress you posted the other day? That looks gorgeous. And cute cozy coat - good price too.
