Definitely avoid any eye primers, shadows with talc bases, mica, and the like. They can be drying and irritating for really sensitive eyelids.

They are free of mica, parabens, titanium dioxide and other potential irritants. Their face makeup isn't acne safe. (That's a concern for me personally.) But their eye makeup could be great for you.
I have hooded eyes. The trick for cat liner I've found is to go out on the very edge of the corner of outer eyelid and work up and out from there. That said, I find I still need a bit of medium depth shadow on the bit of upper lid skin that folds down. I've also done very bold eye makeup using one of those kajal liners in a pretty color, filled in the lid, and blended the edges up and out. Sometimes eyeliners have less irritants in them such as mica. Application on the lid has potential to crease like crazy. But it is one work around that only uses eyeliner.
How do you feel about a more dramatic lip? I think using some simple mascara, a bit of tightlining with eyeliner, and really rocking a great lipstick (nothing too brown, neutral--choose your medium to high intensity version of plum, pink, red, or the like!) would be gorgeous and fresh,. It will give your eyelids time to heal and calm down. Just be sure to really conceal any redness around nose as more saturated hues can highlight facial redness.
