Eye Candy: Fall 2012

On a whim, I typed Fall 2012 into Nordstrom.com search box. Up popped a gorgeous array of designer clothes. Definitely not in my price range, but so fun to window shop!

How I wish I lived in the States or at least visited regularly enough to shop there.

How lovely! Thanks for sharing, Nadya --- sometimes it's nice to window shop the pretty things even with no thought of buying (they're pretty literally out of my reach; but I can always take inspiration and keep them in mind when looking in local stores I guess... or at least that's what I'm consoling myself with!).

So sweet. Can't shop there because I'm in Canada but mostly because I'm too poor for these prices. BUT here are the trends I notice:

- Oversize grandma jewellery (the price... wha...? Can.$2455.84???)

- Flared shopper bags (again the price here...!!!) or square satchels.

- Colour blocking and stripes in black and white

- Leopard print still rocking

- Turquoise (yé! My colour)

- Slouchy pants persisting

- Silhouette of tight pants + long, fitted knit top (hem to hipbone)

- More tightness and fittedness than slouchiness

- Tunics, when straight, all seem to veer Boho; I can detect hints og Goth here and there; otherwise Mod rules.
