Express outfits

I went to Express today to try on some clothing that I had been looking at online. I took my camera to see what you all think of some of the things I tried on. All opinions welcome!

White pencil skirt, it was too tight, I needed a size up. I needed to try a size bigger in the top also.

Microcheck pants, these were too tight, but they didn't have the size I needed.

The dress is MADE for you! Must get it! And I love the top in #5! I am partial to the #3 outfit because I have the top and love it. I get a lot of use out of it.

Agreed - that dress is lovely on you! You're so pretty too, and your eyes are stunning.
I have that black and white print in the pencil skirt. Have you tried that? I bet you'd look great in it.

Thanks crwilson, elbyde and sarbear1121! I appreciate your feedback! I am definitely going to get the dress and probably a couple of the cowl neck tops.

Sarbear1121 I have tried on the black and white, but it was too big. I will see if they have it in my size and at another store and try it on again. I thought the white skirt would be a little more versatile though.

So thus far the consensus is yes to the black and white dress, black and white top, and the cowl neck top. No on the microcheck pants, yellow top and white pencil skirt?

You are a knockout in that dress!! You are gorgeous.

I do not care for the yellow top with the white skirt, BUT, I am wondering if the angel of the camera shot mabe contributing to the triangle look you seem to have in that outfit.

The cowl neck top looks great. You have beautiful shoulders and it is good to show them off.

Regarding the yellow top:

I tried that top on, and it fit perfectly. Plus they have a lot of great colors.

HOWEVER, I put it back because of all of the silver hardware and detailing. I just thought that it was too limiting (I'm a gold-wearing minimalist for the most part).

The size that you have on in the pic looks a bit snug.

So...that's my 2 cents on the yellow top, specifically.

BTW, I like you in black and white. The dress is great, and the top is cute on you too. The cowl neck/drape neck top is nice, and you can layer it for Fall/Winter season too.

Holy XXXX!!! You rock that black and white dress and must have it.

Don't love the yellow top. Just think you can do better.

The B&W blouse and skirt look really great on you.

The sleeveless cowl is amazing.

Simplicity suits you. Your clothing should never detract from your knockout good looks.

Lena I went back Thursday and I am glad that I did not purchase the items on Wednesday, because everything was 40% off and the sale is on until Monday-Memorial Day! So I got two cowl neck tops, one in grey and one in turquoise, the black and white top, and of course the dress...Yay!!! On top of that I had a coupon for 40.00 off when you spend 120.00....Woohoo!!

IWC the yellow top was too tight, but the Express I went to on Thursday did not have the yellow so I didn't get to try it on in the bigger size.

I may go back and get the white skirt also.

Thanks again ladies for your input, I really appreciate it and take it to heart!

I'm late too, but wanted to say I am glad you got the dress! It looks awesome on you. The cowl is a great top too. I think my least favorite was the yellow top, but maybe because it was a big snug. Color is good on you though!
