I'm talking generically about driving shoes, the ones with the little bumps on the bottom. Are they comfortable to walk in? Where do they sit on the casual (cons) to classy (pumps) continuum? Could you make them work with anything other than jeans? A skirt? Are they deemed preppy like boat shoes?
All because I want to find a tomato-to-coral pair of low-heeled shoes to wear with jeans and to casualize (is that a word?) a RATE but girly grey skirt suit. I found some ballet flats that could work, but then I saw some driving mocs on Zappos and started wondering how they are worn, other than driving.
