This winter has been weird and mild. January and February overall has shown an early spring pattern: south wind and north wind back and forth, switching every 12 to 48 hours, with corresponding temperature changes. A real delight for people with allergies! And it doesn't make dressing much easier, either. Yesterday started in the mid 30s and ended in the upper 70s.
But it does give me an opportunity to play with mild-temp combinations, like cuffed jeans and no socks. I refuse to wear jeans when it's over 80, and I hate cold feet, so this isn't a combination I'm practiced with. Last week I tried several variations with my blue sneakers. None of them really looked right to me, so I'd love some feedback and other ideas.
#1 Narrow double fold cuff
#2 Narrow triple fold cuff
#3 Single deeper cuff at ankle
#4 Even deeper single fold cuff
These are extra long jeggings; the taper is noticeable with a deep cuff. In #4 it is starting to flare at the fold while being tight higher up on my leg.
I think it's the shoes that are throwing this look for me. Most variations look great with my cognac oxfords; but that's a much lower-profile shoe. (Leg lengthening is not a priority, btw.)
