I first ordered from Everlane some years ago -- several silk tops. The quality was great and so was the customer service. But the fits were not precisely what I had been envisioning, and while I wore the tops for several years, they weren't my favourites, and because I didn't feel 100% confident of fits (and did not have a store nearby) I didn't order anything else from the brand.
Over the past two years, I've been able to visit stores in person and try on items for size and cut, and with that knowledge, I've been able to buy in the B&M store and online with much greater success. And I have loved their essential-for-me type items in the past few years! Quality and customer service have been excellent.
The first two items in Finds were my first Everlane purchases. The later items are my more recent purchases: curve jean, barrel leg jean, Marinier jean (full length wide leg); 3 shirts, and a top. I altered the top slightly by shortening it.
For online ordering, I do read the reviews very carefully, and ask for forum experiences or Angie's insights because she sees the items quite often in store.
I have also returned items -- not for quality, but because I wasn't thrilled with the fit on my body, or I didn't like the fabric weight/ drape in person. The process has been smooth and seamless. I've communicated with staff in customer service by email -- also a good experience.
Any place that has a good system in place for Canadian customers gets a lot of love from me, and Everlane is one of those places.
