My attempt at a purchase-free No-vember suffered a big hit tonight. I'm runing on fumes after four 12-hour workdays with a new and challenging client and at Newark airport where my flight home was delayed, so I'll be crawling into bed at about 1:30am if I am lucky. And it will be a full-on working weekend, because I travel again next week. (Wah, wah, wah.)
So I did something I never do...walked into the Newark Airport Coach store and walked out 5 minutes later with a new bag.
It's beautiful, it fills a wardobe hole -- actually several (colorful bag / crossbody / sophisticated smallish bag / bag that can be packed in a suitcase). On the other hand, even when I shop during work trips I am my bargain-hunting self. This was just a big indulgence.
My business has had a really good year and I am justifying it by considering it an early bonus, but still ... felt the need to confess.
