Excited about a washing machine

Yesterday my new washer and dryer came and I am so happy. My last washer was repaired 12 times so this last breakdown was enough. I have been without one for several weeks so am up to my eyeballs in nastiness as all of my children and DH are heavily into sports. I am housing the nasties in the garage LOL.

Ha! I understand. We replaced our 20-year-old set this year, and I enjoy the laundry so much more now. Strange as that may sound.

If you're the main one that does the laundry, (and I imagine you are ), then it's so much a part of day to day life that it makes sense to be excited to have a good, well working one. It's going to make things much smoother!

If you've been struggling with an less than optimal laundry situation in a sports-oriented family, getting a new washer and dryer would be such a relief. Anything that makes family life easier is definitely worth a celebration.

When we bought our house many moons ago, a W&D was tops on my list to buy and a higher priority than living room and/or dining room furniture. I share your excitement!

We got a new washer and dryer 2 yrs ago, and Im *still* excited using them! lol....good luck with yours

I can understand you'd be excited! Going so long without a decent one, and it's a life necessity...

Mine is 30 years old and still going strong. The repair guys (just the fan belt) have told me to hang onto it as long as I can, because the new ones can't compare. Not even the same brand.

I can understand your excitement!! Laundry is a very big part of my life too ( I wash bedding from up 3 beds daily) and I was so relieved when DH bought me one the same day my washing machine broke earlier this year. I have been excited about going back to a top loader that is faster, can do non full loads, can easily be added to once the cycle is going and where I can tip a bucketful of yucky stuff straight in without having to touch it!
