It can be hard to keep up with what's dated these days so I an not sure re these. I like these booties tho and I would wear them with dresses and opaque hose. And maybe skinny jeans.

Do you still like them? Do they fit your developing fashion persona?

I think they're quirky enough to be statements, rather than dated... And after all, aren't pointy toes in?

I really like these.

Deborah is right about the amiguriity of items. It's almost like everything goes (almost), with the right items.

Check your closet, these must have gone with SOMETHING before! Maybe there is something else begging to come out!

Actually I wear these A LOT in winter. I even walked/worked Europe for 6 weeks in these and one other pair year before last. I am just pulling out my winter gear and wondered if they were wearing/getting daggy looking. They are very comfy and expect I will wear them a lot again this year.... So thanks for your eyes over them...

If you wore the boots in an outfit entirely different from "the expected," they would be very fashionista. Try them with a flowy dress with a fitted denim jacket or a cropped black leather jacket. If your style doesn't include flowy dresses or skirts, how about shorts with a soft blouse, bringing in black somewhere in the outfit. Keep Them

They don't look dated to me, but they are starting to look a little worn (creasing). I would hang on to them but keep an eye out for something that could take their place.

I think they still have life in them. I probably wouldn't wear them for a fancy affair, but for a regular day at the office, or even running around on the weekend I would definitely keep them. I can't locate the post, but Angie did a blog a while ago about keeping a dressier item that is a bit worn, but downgrading it to the casual part of the wardrobe. I think that's what these booties are asking for. Definitely not worn out, just a bit rougher than new.

Ah so many good insights on the creasing etc... This brand which is really comfy and pretty hard wearing for me who thrashes shoes, has something similar with wedge heels and lace ups so perhaps I could replace... Its just starting to get cool here and I just opened the boxes on my 'good' boots and these shooties (is this what you call them) and they just looked pretty shabby when I had assumed they were still good! As they say, sometimes things just lose their spunk!!! I think this is the prob with this brand of shoes that I have been buying for a few years, nothing really wears out on me like other brands and I wear them non stop so i am starting to get a collection of 3-4 year old shoes - ok in itself but that starts to be the turning point for how fresh and sharp they look!
