Una suggested these for me - but are they too ALGO? I really like them, but someting tells me they'd feel like winter to me, despite the light color.

These aren't leather, but the colors and harness call to me, and reviews say the calf fits very slim, which should help the quality of the look. Blue? Wine? Tan? They're super cheap.

I also keep going back to the MM Flynn. Can't decide if they are too pristine for me or if the color will look bad with my skin tone. They looked great on Rita and Aida, but my legs are a little more brown.

Other suggestions definitely welcome. I've been hunting for summery, tall, office-appropriate boots for a LONG time now.

I love 1! just adorable and classy enough for office and play! 2-3 are a tad tougher but do other ladies wear such in your office? and the last is a classic. I think, from your other posts. the first seems a bit fun like you seem to be. But I don't know what the ALGO means, sorry

Rae, The flynn's are going to be too light for you. I think they come in cognac. Would you consider that color?

They are on a nice sale now at endless. Get your high heel size, they are high heeled shoes. I always have to size down in heels.

Rae, I'm still looking for you but I actually have #1 and #4 on my picks.
I'm not too crazy about 2 and 3, just because they don't read as summery to me.

I am not sure about the ligher pair ( that Aida has ). It could be a little too light fot you.

HM, if Aida's are too light, then I think #1 and #4 will be too light. She said she got the taupe, and although some pics show lighter or darker, there's only one taupe option (if that makes sense).

Has anyone seen the MM Whiskey color IRL? I like the Endless pic, but they are significantly darker in the Nordies pic and still darker on the Infinity site.

The flynn's are like a very pale white person's skin color. Hope that doesn't rub anyone the wrong way, but it is the true color of these shoes. They are a very pale nude for me.

I think you could rock those mid calf boots, the super high heel mitigates any shortening that could happen due to the mid calf height.

I have some MM in cognac and I wonder if whiskey is a different name for the same color?

I like the MIAs too, if you can take the high heel. They have potential. I would just keep an eye for visual cues as to whether or not the very high heel is appropriate. Some places frown upon very high heels for work (above 3 - 4inch). They can read clubbish.

I have one pair of boots this high, but they are also a little more of a chunky, self-covered heel. Alright, gotta snoop on people's shoes...

Wow, the MMs are flying off the shelves at Endless, way gone in my size in the Whiskey and black. The reviewer who got the tape from there said it is a light olive khaki in real life? Maybe Amazon has a weird dye batch? Sounds closer to this pic, which looks way darker than Rita's.

They Mixtures are casual, but not that much more casual than what I see you wear to work. They are still quite sleek and tailored.

Hey, I like the way you work! I really like #1 and you must try the taupe color and see how it looks on you IRL. I have a pair similar to the Fergie Ledger and love them, but don't wear them all that often, simply because they're a bit higher than I prefer. But, the cover over the heels is something that I think makes them stand out. For some reason, I think you'd prefer the Fergie Mixture, Ledger or Maxines over the MM Flynns, but I could be all wrong. You'd wear any of these well, Rae.

Rae, the color of my Flynns (and also Christy's which I saw in person) are quite well represented in my photos (mine were also from Endless); they are a brownish taupe, and absolutely not nude to my very very pale skin In fact I was quite bummed to find out they weren't the creamy color in the Endless photos because that's what I really wanted. They would be on the light end for you but I would be more concerned about the ashy color they have against your skin tone (which was a big concern for me as well). I have seen the whisky color, it's a rich, just slightly dark cognac shade. As for looking pristine, they actually look LESS pristine than I expected; the leather on my pair is quite natural looking and as you can see in my photos slouches at my tiny ankles but obviously the fit would be a bit different on you; I do think they would certainly be "office appropriate" though.

Rae, the first ones you posted of my pics (the MMs) remind me of my Bronx boots - they are femme-y in a Victorian way but the texture of the leather makes them more RATE, and they are different than most of my other stompy boots. And get the most compliments. I think that style with the buttons would be an unexpected but enriching addition to your boot collection.

Zap, I'd seen that style on Endless, but I passed over them because the measurements said 16 inch calf... much different than the Macy's measurement. I should be near a mall this weekend; I'll pop in and see if I see them.

Una, if the ones I just ordered don't work, I think the Siris might be next. They look better in different pics I've found online - the Amazon pics are pretty terrible, now that I've compared!
