Everlane Petra Tote coming in Blue

I was all set to buy the black Market bag as my interview/travel/sometimes commute tote.

But it looks like at least the Magazine style is coming in an inkish blue in only two days. Decisions, decisions.

This is an appropriately colored bag to wear with a black interview suit, right? I have never spent this much on a bag. I'm trying to up my quality game all around and this minimalist tote has been whispering loudly to me for weeks. Black seems more versitile by default, but my wardrobe is 90% black/white/ink/navy/grey right now so it's really anything goes. Maybe the new colors won't come in the Market or will sell out so quickly I'll never have to make a decision

Kristin - Yes, I actually signed up for the waitlist a few weeks ago, but the signup page only shows a taupe. I was doing some last minute research before putting in my CC number and stumbled on the blue in the blog entry.

I have this bag in black and it's really fab. Very good quality and worth the price (which is not high considering the quality).

I think the black is very professional and polished, but both blue and black would be professional. The blue might transition to casual wear more easily.

ETA, my bag is the magazine, the smaller one. I'd love to get another in clay for casual. (-: I think I'll get one of their square wallets when they come out instead, though.
