Everlane Nordstrom Pop-in

Today starts the Everlane pop-in. I am thinking about trying a few things since I can easier return to Nordstrom. I like the high waist skinny jeans but wondering about fit. Any feedback on their denim sizing?

I will be popping by next week. Everlane is not my vibe, but I have clients who like their sensibility. Always keeping my clients in mind. Sizing is unfortunately inconsistent.

Thanks Angie... I wish they would have had an in-store Pop-up in one of the Portland locations. I just found a post by Grayscale about her experience with their denim...so I will take a closer look at what she had to say as well...

Oh...yea!!!! I did not know about this (heading over to research, right now) and would love the opportunity to try-on a bunch of items. It's really only the guesswork involved with choosing sizes online that keeps me from buying more.

I did not know about this and would like to try on. I wonder if our closest Nordstroms has the Pop in. It is a rather small store.

Update: I ended up ordering the ankle high waist skinny jeans. I ordered my usual size (28) and ended up needing to get a (29). I don't know if they run small or it was being a high waist style... I like them... they are a retro sort of denim material (think shrink to fit Levi's 501) so not real soft and more stiff but I am hoping that might change after a few washes... I didn't find them to be a true skinny style more of a slim fit... but they are very flattering on and I really like the dark wash with the brown stitching..

FWIW, I purchased the bomber jacket in burgundy and it's lovely. The arms are fairly wide; it's more a traditional "real" bomber fit and more like an outerwear weight. The color is amazing. It was an impulse buy but I think I'm going to wear it a lot. I am a size 12 and ordered a L, should have been an XL according to the size chart, but might have been able to fit a M (didn't try it on - ordered online and picked up in store), although might not have zipped as easily around my hips.

For those who have been to the pop-in -- Nordstrom online shows the Wide Leg Crop pants are only available in Bone (?!), but the advertisements show an olive version. Do they have Olive in the store?

I ordered the mid-rise black skinny jeans in my usual size, and I could not even get them over my thighs....too discouraged and shallow enough to not want to try on the next size up.

I've tried them previously. They are very soft leather and look beautiful. I would have bought my regular size, 6.5. They're not too narrow (their other shoes tend to be very narrow, but not these).

Imperfections for my feet: slightly low volume for my high volume feet -- they dug into the top of my foot a tiny bit, which is almost inevitable for me, more than most people. The elastic at the back of the shoe was a little bunchy and didn't seem like it would be the best on my foot shape. If I'd been looking for something like them they would have been a contender, but not perfect for me.

Honestly, I've never been able to buy shoes without returning most options... shoes might just be something you have to either try on in stores or be willing to return. Or maybe I'm just unlucky!

I agree Greyscale...for every pair of shoes I order 99 % are returned...I would give anything to be able to walk in to a store, find cute shoes that are not super pricey,buy them and wear them
