I stopped into Everlane today to check out the jeans, especially the barrel jeans Angie and others here have been sporting. I wanted to see that brown color that Angie mentioned. It is a rich, medium, milk-chocolate brown. Actually I see they call the color "cocoa," and that is accurate--it's the color of powdered cocoa. Yum! But not sure it's a great color for me. And I wasn't crazy about how the style looked on me. I also tried on a straight pair, and same thing: they didn't wow me.

The Gardener Jean, on the other hand, really appealed to me. I love the pockets--one huge pocket on each side creates both the front and back pockets. I find it flattering as well as interesting looking. I left them in the store, because, well, I'm not wanting another pair of blue, black, or cream jeans at the moment.

So this is not a keep or return, but just showing you the style, on me, in case you're curious. I found they fit true to size. And as Angie reported with the Curve Jean that is also described as "way high," the rise on this style was not too high for me. I can't wear a super-high rise. I'd say 10.5" is my sweet spot.
