Pff the drive isn't that bad, only 40 min and you don't have to deal with the traffic heading INTO Seattle

Aida, I don't even like driving for 1 minute. Plus, other cars on the road really don't want me driving for 40 minutes. I'm a bad driver. Although I love my bright red little car....

Angie I know how you feel, I actually really dislike driving myself and only do it when necessary. Being in Everett though, it turns out I have to drive quite a lot. I just put on my shades and crank up my punk/metal

I dislike driving if I have to do it long distances on a regular basis. I'm less stressed and have a much better time if someone else is in the car with me. Part of the reason I don't like driving is that I have a TERRIBLE sense of direction when I'm in a car, even in cities that I've lived in for years, and having a co-navigator (aside from my GPS) is one less thing to worry about. (So... um, needless to say, I'll make sure to print specific directions for wherever we're going!)

Aida, the drive from Seattle(ish) to Everett isn't bad at all. But I've been stuck in the 1-5 mess in Everett many a Friday night when I was trying to get home from school, and I think I just have negative associations with being stuck alone in a car in a non-moving traffic jam one too many times.

Kari, luckily the restaurant is nearly a straight shot off the freeway as is the outlet mall

I drive a LOT and ALL THE TIME! I dislike it but that's my lot in life I guess. To and from Seattle 5 days a week (25min, easy peasy). It's the long trips I seem to make for my hobby that make me kooky and nearly always by myself. Well okay, Regan comes with but she is not that great of a conversationalist.

Would this meetup be open to shy (but nice!) lurkers? I have a wedding to attend that afternoon and wasn't originally planning on coming to this meet up... but then I remembered that the wedding is in Tulalip Casino, so I'd have run into you ladies at the mall anyway!

I called the Vintage and they don't do reservations for breakfast, but I convinced them to write us in October 8th @ 10am. I've got us set for 10 people, which I think we're just about at now, but we should be able to have a few more without any problems.

Just confirmed I have that day free and will be able to join you all. Yay!

I believe Kari is keeper of the email list. I do not actually have a list of all the attendees!

There's nothing going on at the Event Center so parking shouldn't be too bad near the Vintage (on Hoyt, north of Hewitt there are often spaces). If anyone not carpooling -to- Everett wants to do so from there to the outlet, I can seat 3 more.

I believe the plan is to meet at 10am at the Vintage Cafe, but I do not have any final details. Aida and Kari kindly took over logistics as I am a terrible group organizer.
