Several months ago, I posted to the forum wanting help with creating a boho look for myself. The problem I was running into is that since I am very short, most boho-style clothes overwhelm me, since they are usually meant to be somewhat oversized and voluminous.
Several fabbers suggested that I try bootcut jeans, and I was horrified at the thought. To me, bootcuts were the same thing as the bell bottoms from the seventies, which I do NOT have good memories of! But people said that I could look for a mini bootcut, that not all bootcuts were created equal.
I was still not convinced but thought I would try anyway. And what do you know...I actually liked how I looked in them! That was several months ago, and I now have two pairs of bootcut jeans. I was thinking of them today because I have been noticing in my outfit log that many of my high-happiness-quotient outfits are created with one or the other pair of these jeans.
Has anyone else forced themselves to try a trend and been surprised that they love it?
