Ever question when you're being too picky?

I tried this on during our road trip back to Tahoe in December. I decided the shirt was 'okay' but not terrific and the jeans were more snug in the seat than the thigh, opposite of what I was hoping for. Now, another dozen pairs of BF jeans tried on later, I kind of wish I'd grabbed that whole outfit. I keep coming back to it. It was under $50 for both pieces, too. sigh.
Incidentally, this is the same day I tried the leather look shirt that I left behind, only to have MNSara hunt it down for me later.
Sometimes I have no idea when my internal compass is off. Maybe this is one benefit to shopping with a friend? Can't say I've done that more than twice in the last 10 years. Is that weird?

Don't be too hard on yourself - we've all experienced "the one that got away." Angie was recently saying that she had the perfect little cropped sweater in her hands in Japan and didn't buy it and now wishes she had. If it can happen to Angie, it can happen to all of us!

That leather shirt is to die for. I love the neckline and the curved hem. And the rocker aspect of it is so "you".

As for the pants, hmmmm. I don't know about the destroyed denim thing. I thought we were done with destroyed denim anyway, unless the denim has been personally destroyed by the wearer, in the normal course of wearing.

Anyway, as for your question: having a friend along can be very helpful, if your friend is honest and also has a good eye. Otherwise, she (he?) can lead you to making more wrong choices than you might on your own. But having a friend along can be lots of fun, too. I do most of my shopping alone, but I have a couple of friends I sometimes go with, and I really enjoy it when we do.

I'd love to shop with you if you're ever in my neck of the woods. I'll be honest, promise!

I really like that shirt!
Something I do quite often is I almost don't buy something because it doesn't look that good in the change room, because of the awful lights. Then when I get home I think, I can't believe I almost didnt buy this! Its good!

When we look at ourselves in the mirror at the shop we want it to look AMAZING and we sometimes don't buy it if it doesnt live up to how we vizulaized it.
Also I never shop with friends [unless I am helping them find something] because I always en up buying something that doesn't suit my style personality at all.

Some days are like that though. I think it's just because you want BF and haven't found the right pair that you would even dream of "settling". Settling is not a Mo trait I generally think of
We all have the ones that got away - and should look forward to ones we will catch later right?

Sometimes I think it might be my lack of close on hand shopping opportunities. A lot of 'finds' are hours away (or in this case all the way in South Carolina!) and makes returns not possible. I just wish I knew when I was being reasonable and when I'm just over thinking it all lol.
