Ever find yourself staring at very stylish women?

I do, and I hope it's not as obvious as I fear!

Today I stopped at Starbucks after dropping my older son off at school and saw two women sitting at a table, talking. I couldn't stop looking at one of them -- she was very stylish and I was studying what she was wearing (cuffed jeans, high heels, big hoop earrings, a tan trench) and trying to figure out what I liked about her style.

Do you do this, too? Tell me I'm not the only one!

When I see a very stylish woman, I often approach her and ask her where she shops, who does her hair, etc. I get the best advice this way!

I've been quizzed myself more than a few times about MY clothes, jewelry and hair! What a compliment!

I do 'study' a well dressed woman, I hope, rather than stare lol. Yes

Definitely! I will often go out of my way to compliment the woman, if possible. I always think it's nice to get a compliment from another woman, there's just something special and meaningful about it to me, so I try to pass that on when I see someone I think is fab.

Oh I do--I try to figure out what I like about the outfit--grooming and memorize it. I don't say anything unless there is a natural way to start a conversation--like we're both waiting for a sale to be rung up.

Unfortunately in my own neighborhood it is rare to see someone like this and I am out of the habit of watching.

I definitely try to compliment when I catch myself "studying", too!

It's nice that I seem to get lots of compliments when I'm out and about too. My jewelry and shoes especially. It's funny and a bit of a relief when I realize that no, a person is not staring at my chest, it's my necklace!

Yes, I do because they are so few and far between!!! most people are schlepping in sweats and tees:(

Yes,I'm afraid that I actually stare.That's why I also try to talk to them and tell them that I think they look fab.
But this is mainly an american/canadian issue because in portugal everyone stares

Its rare that I see this, but I always try to compliment someone if I really like what Im seeing! Most women are quite gracious and seem to appreciate it!

I study if I like something, then compliment them when caught staring, so they know I'm not trying to be creepy.

Yes, I stare ( but try to do so discreetly ). I want to define for myself why the outfit works so well, it's a learning process. Recently I saw a woman in a color blocked outfit that was visually extremely strong : purple high suede boots, green pencil skirt, turquoise top. The colors were perfectly balanced and the garments clean cut. She glowed !

Yes, very definitely and when possible I do give compliments (cos it feels good to get them!)

The other day I saw a woman wearing light yellow jeans, a black top and a fabulous tangerine colour scarf. She was Spanish in colouring and had lovely bouncy curly hair. She looked very put together, but relaxed and casual at the same time - I thought immediately of Rute actually.
