Teatime, I love Trinny. She is the sequin queen! I can’t wear most of what she wears — we have such different body types — but I did like her styling ideas for sequin items.

Great pictures - you look amazing and in your element! I'm attracted to the red and black graphic teeshirt/black pants/sparkle jacket combination - glam rock & roll!

Janet...I love Trinny too, but I also cannot carry off most of what she wears. However I have become of an age where I don’t worry so much about what other people think so I do have a couple of sparkly tops and silver tennis shoes. Haha. I am originally from UK so I follow a few British accounts. I currently live in Maryland. I’m afraid I am a silent follower of this account but have it enjoyed it for many years, and learned a lot. I love how Angie uses the terms ‘frocks’ and ‘knickers’.

Ooh, its absolutely gorgeous on you! Love the styling too.

Looks fab on you! I’d also love to see it with lighter colors underneath.

Ah, you all are making me wish I looked better in light bottoms! LOL I don't think I can justify them if I can only wear them with a knee-length duster. Hmm, would it be silly to get a light pair of pants that can exclusively be worn under my long (mid-thigh or longer) jackets? I like the idea of a column of white/light under a long jacket. But these thighs + light pants is usually a bad combination. Any slight tendency for snugness or pulling through the hip is amplified in a light color. I had a great pair of white pants years ago, and later a good pair of white jeans, but gave both away after I stopped training for long running events and my weight went back up.

It might be worth trying with a lighter bottom, though I can relate to your reticence. I’m not currently wearing my white jeans. Speaking for myself, I might feel like a long duster would help camouflage the areas of my bottom half that do not make me feel fab.

Also, PSA for anyone interested in this item -- it appears to be back in stock on the Anthro website.

we saw a sales associate and Anthro in Seattle wearing it when we were there! thought of you

Oh cool, Rebekah! I’d love to see how she styled it.

It’s funny, I don’t think of myself as a sequin person at all — I’m not sure I can pull this off for casual day wear, but I’m curious to try. Maybe for something like an art event — I have two to attend next weekend, so...

I wish i took a pic. I think she had it with a white T-shirt and light denim jeans. it was cute & had nice movement.

I would wear for an art even for sure!

Fun- of course you should keep it! Especially since you have long coats to wear over. I like long toppers like that over sheath/shift dresses too- if you have any.

I love it! So easy and no fuss item to glam up an all black outfit, no matter are pants or a simple LBD! The splited up so high sides make all the difference- so you can move easier and others can catch a glimpse of the outfit/body figure underneath so JFE, too!:-)
