evening clutch choices

I have a "wardrobe" hole for an evening clutch to use at weddings and such. I'm searching for something versatile that I can use with as many dresses as possible. My dresses include black with mesh overlay, metallic purple, metallic pink, teal lace, and a few patterned.

What do you think of these options? As always, suggestions welcome within a reasonable price range.

The silver leather will be your most versatile IMO

I would go for a plain metallic. There are lots on Ebay, in case that interests you.

No. 3 rocks my boat the most. I love the clean lines. And you've made me realise I have an evening bag hole in my bag capsule too. If you don't mind company, I might be joining you in this purchase. Where did you find it Liz?

I like #2 the best. But that's just my personally opinion. I can't suggest any, but do you have any stores like TJ Maxx or Ross around you? That, or ebay or etsy, is where I'd start looking.

Brenda, yes, I do shop a lot on ebay but only when I have something more specific in mind like a brand name at least. Otherwise I get too overwhelmed by all the choices when you type in something like silver leather clutch...

I like #2 and #3. For my style, I would get #2 because I prefer big, floppy clutches, but since I don't know your style, I don't know if you'd prefer something more structured (i.e. #3).

Just a word of warning... I too had an evening clutch hole in my wardrobe, and instead of just getting one, I ended up with three!

And Kristin, yes I do have plenty of TJ Maxx and Ross near me. That and etsy are where I get most of my accessories. I've been keeping my eyes open.

Yes, clutches have little litters of more clutches.
I like the silver leather. I have tried to stay away from fabric, especially satin in lighter colors. Leather or faux leather or shiny or something that is not likely to show smudges or get grimy/worn- looking.

DIana, I absolutely adore that bag you linked! It's a little larger than I was looking for, but it is TDF.

I like shape of the first one and while the silk is nice, it appears a bit dull. I really really like the second one if you want a black bag. I think the third is lovely and the most versatile choice.
