Just when you thought you were done with me, aye?!? My package from ASOS arrived last week, just after I received the jacket that Una had picked out. In it were a number of jackets that you wonderful ladies had pointed out to me to try. Some were such obvious no-gos that I didn't photograph them. Others were not bad, but not great either. I thought I might post them so that you all could see what they look like in real life.

Also, just for fun, I've got a couple of photographs of the jacket that Una suggested plus the ASOS one that several people liked from an earlier post. This time, though, I had sized down in the ASOS. That made it more fitted and slightly more flattering. For a few minutes, I was even considering whether it was a winner over the Una jacket, but after photos, I think I made the right decision to keep the Una jacket. What do you think?

I like it, but the shoulder was just wrong on me. I was a little hesitant about the strong shoulder pads, but when I saw the creasing on the shoulder, I knew it had to go back.

Didn't work closed, not great open, and the curve for the back flip was very cute, but too low and too short to my eye. Also, ridiculously scratchy wool for a $400+ jacket.

Pics 7 and 8:
Jacket 3. Back again for another match up, leaner and ready to fight. Some love from the earlier posting. Definite slight advantage with the wide trousers for work wear, but not stellar to my eye. Bonus pic of my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Miss Scout.

Jacket 4, Una's suggestion. I think this has a real advantage for the "with jeans" look. And that's what I was buying it for, right? Disagree? Let me know!

Thanks for bearing with me everyone!
