European beauty products

Can anyone with experience with european brands point me to some good products? I have been experimenting for a year now and have accumulated quite the stash of half-used bottles, pots, and tubes. I know everyone has different needs, but if there is anything you are enthusiastic about I would be really interested to hear.

and I'm a big Clinique fan
I also love Origins green tea face protector they only deliver to the UK but I found their products on Ebay
Karin Herzog- very expensive but I love their spot cream it draws out the spot overnight making it easily popable in the morning again not sure if they deliver to Europe but have found their products on Ebay

Thanks for your suggestions. I know a place where I can buy Origins here, but the prices are doubled (like most American brands here). I love the Origins spot remover which is currently running out, so maybe I can find the Karin Herzog cream.
I am looking for...face care (wash, treatment, lotion), body care (scrubs and lotion), and make-up favorites.
Finding something that worked with my hair, scalp, and the hard water here was tough, but Kerastase does pretty well as long as I wash every other day. The prices are atrocious but everything lasts at least a few months, so it's not that bad. Actually my mother-in-law tried my shampoo and complained for days that her hair was too soft But she wants volume in her short hair (and I want frizz-taming in my long hair) so I can see where she is coming from. If anyone knows of some good hair styling products for piece-iness (sp?), though, that would be a help.
One thing I can recommend to others is the eye make-up remover from Louis Widmer. I have very sensitive eyes and I swear I could pour this stuff in my eye and feel nothing. It also works well.

Make up favourites are Clinique almost powder makeup worn over face suncream.
Blinc mascara- I have very sensitive eyes and this lasts all day no smudges and comes off with a warm wet face cloth! http://www.blincuk.co.uk/index.....ucts_id=11
I love Tresemme shampoo and conditioner it's saving my red hair colour for weeks x

I love the products from Vichy. I use their make-up and face wash and it works.
On the cheaper side i have very good experience with AOK for blemished skin.

For your hair there´s Guhl. Good shampoo and conditioner.

But everybody reacts differently to beauty products, I think you have to try yourself...

Vichy is great. Reasonably priced and the quality is really good. La Roche-Posay too. L'Oreal Garnier is cheap, but I've never had any problems with their products. Syoss Proffesional haircare is not expensive at all, but good nonetheless.

One thing I just learned is that the pharmacies that carry brands like Vichy and La Roche-Posay will give you samples to try. I learned this after I spend way too much on La Roche-Posay products, used them for two days and completely broke out from them. For hair products, I also like Kerastase. I'll be watching this thread to see other recommendations.

As you know I have a pixie cut, and I just read you have long hair, so not sure if the same hair styling products will work equally well for both of us. But for piece-iness and styling I always recommend Redken Rewind 06 (pliable styling paste). Only available at Redken salons though and it's not super cheap but one jar last for ages. It's not greasy, it doesn't affect the feel of your hair, but it sure does work:

La Roche Posay's eye make-up remover is fantastic too (I used to love their face creams etc. as well, but they're not really working for me anymore, but that's probably more due to my own changing beauty product needs).
The Garnier CleanSensitive one - available at supermarkets - is great too.

I have very dry skin and lately I've been using these two products:

Perfect brush for me, easy application, no clumping, flaking or smudging.
In Belgium it's only available through mail order or after making an appointment at one particular shop. I ran out a few weeks ago and bought a Clinique mascara, not happy at all. I miss my LCN-(

As far as "natural skincare products" go, I also like the Sea Buckthorn range by Weleda and their body scrubs

If you have really dry, sensitive skin, try some of the Avene Trixera products. The Emollient Balm is the best product I've encountered for helping clear up dry patches on face and body. Also, I have discovered that Avene cold cream for hands is the best hand cream of all time, at least in terms of moisturizing properties. Before that I thought Crabtree and Evelyn Gardner's Hand Therapy cream was the best. I always think that special healing waters is a crock, but they are clearly doing something right.
