At the very least, I make sure to use the buttons. If I have time, I do enjoy saying thanks and commenting on the replies.

If someone has taken the time to comment on one of my threads then the very least I can do is have the courtesy to use the appreciation buttons and post the occassional 'big thanks all' If I have a lot of time I will put together a reply that thanks every poster, more often than not I usually do a 'big thanks all' and respond to individual questions reply x

I do try and make sure I push everyone's buttons,LOL!

But seriously, I have VC's issue --- I'm so thrilled and grateful when someone takes the time to comment, I feel the need to reply personally, if only to just say 'thanks', but sometimes I do feel like I'm the bumping the thread too much (sometimes I use the edit button to keep adding to the vote of thanks... as long as it doesn't screw up chronology!) I follow my own threads for a week or so, in case I miss someone!

That's my own threads. On others, I will admit I love the extra warmth of a personal mention/reply, but I really think it is fine to just acknowledge you've read by pushing a button. Although, I also more than understand sometimes people just get too busy to keep up with their own super-popular thread.

I think we all do the best we can with whatever amount of time we have! I always try to use the buttons, and I like to say thanks if I can. I try to always respond to questions, but I fear I may have fallen down on that job a few times. I'm never offended if someone doesn't address my feedback personally.

Wow, thanks everyone for chiming in! I definitely do read every post and push buttons and answer any questions, and when I have time try to thank individually. But sometimes I don't get time to sit down and do that every day so it may be a few days later. I've been shy about re-bumping old threads but now I'm just not going to worry about it, and just pipe in whenever I have more time, even if it's a week later!
