Missvee is right. Just a shorthand. Sometimes we rethink our comment after we write -- or pop back in to add something that occurs to us.

ETA: And the value of that is that the reader gets to see "first thoughts" as well as more considered thoughts. Sometimes first impressions are valuable!

@suz -- it now makes so much sense. I could not figure it out.
ps: you guys got more snow than us. It must be the lake effect. The county here has more snow than us.
