It's a new to me brand. The footwear is made in Italy and very unique in design. I have far too many pairs of shoes, but I will certainly keep Essenza in mind when it's time to update my footwear. Buy those loafers, Fashintern!

I believe an Italian brand. You could wear them with socks and tights in cooler weather.

I have no information but I also noticed these fab shoes on YOOX. They have lots of brands that I’ve never heard of. It can be hit and miss.

You are in Germany. They have fabulous shoes that last (so well made) .
Are the ones featured super comfortable? Maybe you can wear them with interesting socks that show in the gap. Striped? Micro fishnet stockings?

Angie, yes, they are Italian. That's all I know about them, haven't found any reviews online. I found my red boots on Yoox, final sale, trusted they'd be good because they're an Italian brand, and am happy with them, but Idk if I want to press my luck.

Joy, you're correct about German footwwear being well-made, but Spain and Italy are also known for having good shoes.

These shoes have a lot going on! They seem more RATE, while I see your style as more bohemian. They are dark for S/S. You could style with dark tights and wear F/W on dry days, or indoors after boots are removed.

Are you looking for a shoe you would wear in a work environment, just kicking around, or ‘party’ footwear? Or is this irrational shoe love? Do you want them to work with your current wardrobe, or are they indicative of a (new) style direction you wish to peruse?

Such funky shoes, I love them! Never heard of Essenza but all Italian shoes I have owned have been good quality and comfortable.

Carla, interesting that you see them, but not me, as RATE. I tend to think of RATE as a basic part of my style, whereas these shoes look baroque to me. However we label things, that meeting point of funky/tough and elegant does tend to appeal to me, particularly in shoes. That said, I was thinking more of pink shoes (rose/blush, not bubble gum/Barbie) when I saw these. “Is it irrational shoe love” is a very good question. I know I’ve wanted more variety in my footwear, especially since my Pikolinos were stolen. I don’t mind wearing black any time of year, particularly in Berlin, but I like the metal bits on these, have done well with most other shiny/metallic shoes. Thinking through what I’ve been wearing this summer, they’d work well with pretty much everything but the jumpsuits. I may have just sold myself on them.

I have learned that there are two Essenza shoe brands.

One is in Romania and fulfills my stereotypes from the 90s of East European women in high heeled stilettos. Some of them are 11 cm! They have boots boots & flats too, but tons of very high heels.
