Esprit sweaters - K/R (including orange)

Another order from the Esprit sale arrived today. They have free shipping on orders over $30 and free returns so it is easy to try things out. For some reason I've had a craving for simple v-neck cotton sweaters and for striped t-shirts lately so I bought orange and purple sweater on clearance and a striped t-shirt on sale - about $13 each. These are not really styled so any styling ideas would be appreciated.

What do you think - keep or return? I like the orange sweater, am not entirely sold on the purple, and will probably keep the t-shirt because it is nice and thick and can always be used as loungewear. The orange sweater is wrinkly under the arms - not sure why that is, it is definitely not too small.

I vote keep the orange, return the purple and the t (unless you actually need more loungewear). That's maybe just a reflection of my own color preferences, though - the fit of both sweaters is good.

I definitely think you should keep the orange sweater. The fit and the neckline look much better IMHO than they do for the purple, which I would return.

I LOVE outfit #5 - I vote KEEP the tee. That's a great look!

The cobalt jeans + T-shirt + cardi look amazing! Definitely keep the striped T. It's a classic workhorse!

The orange and cobalt make a very bold and exciting combo - and on trend. Love it.

The purple sweater is a lovely colour, but I think the cut isn't the most flattering on you. It's not bad - you can always layer it under blazers and jackets - but not the most fab.

I would keep the orange one and the striped tee, purple has to go back! Love the cobalt outfit!

I also vote to keep the orange, and return the purple..... Great haul!

LOVE the blue tee. That's awesome. I think the orange sweater is great too. I'd keep that as well. I could go either way on the purple. Looks like a nice layering piece.

I love the orange sweater, especially with the blue pants with nothing layered underneath it. Not digging the purple sweater; the striped T is fab!

OK, sounds good! I assumed that the purple sweater might not work even when I was placing the order because usually these really deep and wide v-necks don't work well for me.

Is anyone bothered by the red tag at the bottom of the blue tee (it's a sown-on tag with Esprit brand name)? I might have to remove it so that it does not look super-casual.

Roots does the same thing with their label - it's a little annoying! I vote to remove it, if you can safely!

I remove these Esprit tags everytime because I don't like the look of them. I also vote keep the orange sweater and the striped tee and return the purple one.
