Hi Fabbers,
I've been looking for espadrilles for the last couple of summers and have not had much luck. I think I'm finally ready to plunk down some $ for a nice/comfortable sandal--not that price equates to quality but I haven't had much luck at the lower price points. I know there are a lot of EF sandal fans here. Have any of you tried or have the Willow? I'm considering these in bronze or oyster. Thanks in advance!

Oh, those look so pretty! I have tried on EF flatforms, which were very cushy. I hope these work out for you!

I can t comment on that EF shoe as I can t wear sandals but have found some other EF shoes very comfortable. They look great, I hope they will work for you

I have them! I find them very comfortable. Because of the platform that actual heel height is not that high.
I was lucky. I got mine on super sale during your winter

I haven't tried them on, but like them! They look soft and cushy. Kinda afraid they'd be too hot since they're so covered though.

Gorgeous sandals. I haven’t tried them though. Heel height aside —which would be fine for walking, for me— I’m wondering how comfortable a platform that high would be.

IKWYM, Smittie. I’m not really sure. It’s hard to tell without actually fitting them. These would be a weekend shoe for me—they’re not work friendly for sure. That’s the other thing—not sure if the cost per wear, even if they are comfy, is justifiable. They would be a splurge! I don’t know why all of the sandal style espadrilles are all so high heeled—seems like a summer sandal should have a more practical height heel!

Well the heels only look about 2 inches, not counting the platform! One worry is rain though, as rope doesn't hold up in wet conditions- or rather, the glue that holds the rope put.

lots of styles. I have a pair that are really great, especially for travel, but they are now a discontinued style. I would buy again in the future.
