bf (finally) popped the question on sunday (1/17) !!!

below is a pic of us. he made an ice cream cake with lots of fixin's (see browser), and the results induced a happy food coma

lol, thank you all so much for your warm responses!

however, i'm totally intimidated with dress hunting, due to a few factors:
1) very flat chest (A/AA)
2) skin issues on my torso and a bit on the back
3) starving student budget

we want something small & simple, so maybe an off-the-rack knee length dress will do? i tend to look good in shift dresses with a high or bateau neckline, but white seems to be a tricky color to find.

any tips? i'm totally lost, lol...

also, does anyone living in the los gatos/bay area know of any inexpensive places for a ceremony? i was originally thinking either of the parents' houses, but am not sure if it will get too crowded...

queenie, no date set yet, but probably during off-peak months (jan/feb/mar 2011 or july/aug 2010).

i don't think we have an indoor preference. actually, we liked the idea of having the ceremony at a state park where we go hiking. but it is kinda dusty, not very accommodating, etc...we are going to discuss it tonite.
