I had my second interview at Macy's yesterday- and was offered a part time seasonal position with potential to turn into something more when the season ends. It's just pending a background check. It's a "support" position- putting away merchandise that has been unloaded from the truck, doing price changes and moving displays/merchandise. I'm not particularly excited about trying to fit random schedule into my life, but I'm relieved to be having another source of income, since the summer has been rough for antiques for me. I'm also renting space in a new antique shop much closer to me that is opening soon. Things are good! My computer is back home and still not fixed, but that is just not a priority right now. I'm sure I'll have some questions about work attire, as well as packing for an upcoming trip to Texas.
Hoping to get back into the forum now!
