I'm at beacons closet and this dress is more expensive than I wanted to spend but it is so flattering. I don't really have the occasion to wear it either. Should I get it?

I did get it. Yes, it was more than I wanted to spend but it was still cheap so I don't know what I was fussing about.

I also got a cute little mod Tibi frock but this pic doesn't do its adorableness justice. It's a knit but at Tibi's prices I'm hoping it will last. I swear I never leave that store emptyhanded.

I'm going to have to experiment with the first dress. It has an all-over black-on-black pattern of little open polkadots (little O's). The ruffle down the middle and the bow tie in the back all make it much dressier than what I normally wear. I really like the neckline though. It's low without being revealing. I'm not sure if it's okay for work though. No one dresses up all that much at work.

Leggings and denim jacket sound good (I need to find a denim jacket first though). Not sure how to make it work in the summer though.

Best you track down that ruched sleeve shirt, Maya. Did you know that it got a KILLER to the power of KILLER accolade? I posted that on Julie's thread though - perhaps you missed it.

Both dresses are K-word material. Can you retie the bow in the front? Get to the Loft for a denim jacket, and pop a crossbody bag over the dress and wear it with casual sandals for hot summer days. Top it off with that cool casual citron pendant necklace.

I checked Herald Square and the local mall. No luck Only 8's and 10's were left. I promised I would not write any more pleas so that's not an option...

I tried retying the bow but I thought it interacted awkwardly with the ruffle...like it was too much fabric.
