We are all sorted — dress, hat, bag, jewelry, shoes... plus jeans, blouses, tees, rain jacket, casual flats, pajamas...

For something that came out of a crisis, I have to say it’s one of the most remarkable shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The stylist and her assistant (who was working her very first day there!) were just fantastic. And the prices were incredibly reasonable for all she got, too. She is definitely submitting a claim on her travel insurance and with the airline, and apparently the credit card company she used to book the flight will help compensate for anything not covered by the insurance. What an adventure!

Maybe this is now lucky ( tho stressful) happenstance because your sister looks fantastic! It can be very difficult to find mother of the bride/groom outfits in the US where traditional styles nudge towards capelets, chiffon and strapless dresses. Just didn't work for me. I wish I had seen your sister's ensemble last year!

Gorgeous dress, great outcome and she is darned lucky you were there! Have a great trip. If you have time and like that sort of thing, get to the Victoria and Albert museum - amazing William Morris arts and crafts period textiles (as I remember from many years ago). Plus its of other stuff.

We had two wedding guests forget their clothes for our wedding- and just recently my cousin and his wife had to dress themselves for a wedding from our closets and a local shoe shop!!

Please have your sister take a photo of the dress she originally purchased, because this one is so lovely that I have to wonder if there was something conspiring in the universe to make sure she found it! She is so lucky that her sister is one of the most stylish women on the planet and a great shopper. Most people would not have known how to begin to resolve this crisis.
