Ellen Degeneres "Chaperf" sneaker colors

Just a quick note for anyone looking at these sneakers which are a top find and were mentioned in this blog posting. http://youlookfab.com/2017/02/.....-sneakers/

Nordstrom online shows them in quartz, the color shown in the top pick find, which is a light tan. Zappos has them in light pink, which is what I'd call blush, see the other find. It's very hard to see the color difference in the two finds below. Zappos also carries white and black. I suppose the colors available can change over time as people order them and stock is replenished.

I ordered them from Zappos in light pink and am almost finished with my at-home wear trial and really love them! Angie recommended them for high volume feet but they work for my low volume feet too. I saw them in Nordstrom recently in the quartz color and it's definitely a light tan and not pinky. So check out both retailers to see all the color choices. Looks like several other retailers carry them too (Lord & Taylor, Dillards) but I didn't see any other colors beyond quartz, light pink, white, black.

Thanks Harmonica. It's usually worth looking at multiple stores to see all the colors available in a particular item. They don't always carry the same colors. I almost always forget to do that. Ribbon as shoe lace...what a GREAT idea! Adds a little extra "pretty"

Thanks Jaileen! Yep, I am starting to need an occasional orthotic or insert but don't need true orthopedic shoes and I truly count my blessings for that. I've seen enough postings from other fabbers with foot and back issues to realize that it's a serious challenge to find shoes that are super supportive and also look good. And I remember my grandmother's black orthopedic lace up shoes with a little heel..very severe look..not so many options available in her day.

Did you size down for your low-volume feet? These are pretty, very much on trend and look comfy. xox

Mac, no I did not size down. I bought a 6 1/2 and was able to tighten the laces up just enough to feel snug. In some brands and some shoes I have to size up to a 7 to get enough length and that is where I often find the instep circumference of the shoe to be too loose but lace up shoes usually don't have that issue because you just tighten up the laces. I would say these are true to size unless you have a reason to size up like thick socks or an insole.
