Here is a series of things trying and adding and re-mixing. It is very long !

Things going on:
--more loafers! These in a kind of grayed ivory. This is a good color for me, I think and can go to work or casual.
--Gap navy cotton boatneck top, crazy low sale price and I like it with everything.
--The AT siren called and I got these beige (?) ankle pants in a nice Tencel-type fabric. Just wanted to have fun with that wave for the summer with lighter colors.
--WHBM floral skirt that could become an orphan, but now the loafers may save it. I would definitely wear it with sneakers as a style, but just did not get any this year, so thought the loafers would work. This is intended as just a fun summer skirt, dressed down, and I thought "any top will go with this" but it's not that easy. Have tried to find a short boxy top to no avail.
--Anthro ruffle collar blouse-cardi--
--trying 3 EF toppers--oh boy

1- Gap cotton sweater, AT skirt, DV loafer
2--Gap sweater, AT pants. They "want" to be only one cuff but in some photos I've done 2 rolls (for Angie!)--might have to press and tack down as the fabric is slippery
3--AT pant with Anthro ruffle top--can be worn like a blouse or open as a cardi
4-AT pant with Pendleton silk shirt from last year
5-WHBM skirt with linen top
6--EF unlined boxy linen jacket--Just tossed it over the skirt to show; not sure about it because real white is not my color, but it is SO summery. Has some back darts that give a little shape
7-EF silk pleated pants, Talbot top, EF linen knit cardi, wedge pumps (date night only!)
8-EF gray cotton blend "moto" , Leith pants
9--VC dress "sporty-fied" with loafer. I could wear this to work, I think, since have coat over the sleeveless.
10-Anthro top again, with pencil skirt and 2-tone loafer

Q'S on my mind:
--I worry that I'm too deep into loafers--would love it if they are still working next year. But, these were not expensive, and extend the wear of some dressier items because of comfort issues.
--noodling over the EF toppers. I'm keeping the silvery cardi for sure; something about the play of tones in the knit. Then I thought the gray moto would be a slam-dunk, but wonder about the collar and also if it's too "flat" a fabric-color--I'd thought it was more shiny or silvery from the photos. I'd really target it more for deeper colors than with summery lights--that's how the gray reads, to me. The white linen is something that seems so easy to throw on, & bright colors warm it up, but maybe I should stick with "my" palette.
