Thank you all ! It took me a long time to discover that ecru or ivory is my white. White jeans work sometimes, but I have trouble with what to wear with them as brights and jewel tones are not my thing. All of a sudden everything clicked with these. Of course I came home with a coffee splash on one of the legs the other day - so they don't last as long out of the laundry as regular jeans do . Oh well !

Those jeans look really good on you, and I especially like the last outfit. The olive loafers are pretty cool, unusual color for shoes, but perfect for you.

Just simply 'YLF'! Everything else has been said.

Such well put together outfits. The simple sweatshirt one is so appealing. I have sister "twin" ecru pants to yours and haven't been able to fit into them for awhile--I lost weight, so your inspiration is perfect timing for me!

Omg, those loafers! You are killing it with these ecru jeans!

Lovely! Olive is a great colour for you! Score on the loafers!

Both of these outfits are home runs; you look very chic! I can't believe you haven't worn these jeans much, because they look sooo good on you. I love the first look with the slouchy jacket and mules, and the second look is gorgeous too (beautiful new olive loafers!). You wear olive so well, and the ecru is perfect with it.

OMG, Lisa, blazers love you! That outfit with the jacket is particularly fab. Ecru is perfect as your "white." ! Also, how can you wear a yellowy olive and a sagey olive equally well? Yet you do. Green is clearly one of your best colours.

The style of these jeans is fantastic! What are they?

I love them both!!!!!
YLF. I have a pair of ecru jeans and find them perfect for fall and early spring, they just seem to go so well with transitional colors and weather.

Thanks Suz . The jeans are Simons own label . Can’t recall what they were called but I’m tempted to duplicate in reg blue denim if I can find them .

I, too, bought some ecru jeans I haven’t worn yet. Having trouble adjusting to the idea of any jeans that are not slim and fitted and these are not. At any rate, I’m taking notes, LJP.

Love them on you with the olive coat and loafers! The pair of Dickie's painter paints I bought at the Hardware store, of all places, this summer, are ecru, and I so relate to what you said: "I'm really liking the brightness they bring to an outfit"

Yes, me too! This was a real surprise to me. I hadn't owned a light pair of pants in ages. Trying them with this and that in my closet was so fun. And yes, an olive jacket I have is great with them.

Enjoy!
