I recently purchased a dress NWOT, and when it arrived, it smelled like perfume and had dog hair all over the dress.

I emailed the seller about this, and asked for a mutual solution. She responded that she had a dog and the dog did not wear the dress, but she supposed that's where the dog hair came from. She wants me to send the dress back at my expense within 14 days of original purchase date.

This means at least $25 shipping fees for me, for a dress I only paid $40 for. I explained this to her, and she said this was her policy.

I don't think I should have to pay my shipping because the dress was not as described and I sent her photographs of all the hair on it.

Should I escalate this or just take the $40 hit?

UPDATE2!// Paypal has ruled in my favour and returned both my sales price and my shipping! Whee!
